HISTORICAL SIGNS. The history of Celle di Bulgheria is dominated by two very meaningful events for the Cilento: the appropriation of a colony of Bulgheri and Greek monks in the VI century; and the 1828 motions that they saw among the enlivening principals the canon Antonio Maria De Luca. Been Born in Celle in 1764, he was adherent to the sect carbonara of the Filadelfis; supporting of the Partenopea Republic  (1799), it organized the motions of the Cilento of 1820 and 1828; let from the general Of the Wheelbarrow imprisoned, Salerno was shot to July 24 th 1828. His house native, shown with pride by the fellow townsman, a 1929 headstone and above all the live memory of the people, they testify the popularity of his figure.   

CURIOSITY. The commune of Celle di Bulgheria, situated to around 234 meters on the level of the sea, it extends for 31,54 Kmqs. The inhabitants are approximately 2200.
